Melfin Pereira is a Goan-born Director and freelance Production Designer based in London. Within just a year, Melfin has directed over five short films, garnering multiple awards on the film festival circuit. Despite her relative newness to the industry, she founded 8B8 Entertainment to leverage her expertise and support emerging filmmakers in realising their creative visions.

A First-Class Honors graduate from the University for the Creative Arts, Melfin experienced a noticeable lack of support after graduation, a challenge shared by graduates from her own university as well as other institutions across London and England. This common issue inspired her to create 8B8 for new filmmakers.

Through 8B8 Entertainment, Melfin aims to provide a supportive platform and a bridge for new filmmakers, offering the kind of guidance and resources she wished she had at the beginning of her career.
